Information Management: Faculty / Staff Training

Pursuant to the Provost's announcement of the Information Management program in September 2007, a program of systematic training in handling protected and private or sensitive information has been created for University employees with development assistance and contributions from campus-wide stakeholder representatives.

Initially, this training program will engage new employees of the Lawrence and Edwards campuses (those starting employment in January 2009). Pre-existing employees will begin participation in the mandatory training program starting in late spring 2009. Email notification to eligible employees will commence starting the week of February 2, 2009.

The training must be completed within 60 calendar days of notification for new employees and 30 calendar days for existing employees.
