Dear Colleagues:
We are pleased to present you with sections A, B, and C of the revised Handbook for Faculty and Other Unclassified Staff. The remaining sections are in preparation and will be made available as they are reviewed and approved. We have tried to include those policies, regulations and related information that you should find most necessary or useful to know for your professional activities here. All policies and procedures published in this Handbook have been reviewed and approved; thus, they govern all appointments to the faculty and unclassified staff.
If, after you have had an opportunity to review the Handbook, possible improvements occur to you, please communicate them to the Senate Executive Committee, the Unclassified Professional Staff Association, the Provost, or your vice chancellor or university director. We want the Handbook to be useful, and your suggestions can help us achieve that goal.
