H1N1 Flu Clinic Volunteers Needed

Colleagues:

The Free H1N1 Flu Shot Fridays will be held on campus beginning November 6. For these clinics to be successful, we need volunteers – lots of them! Shifts are generally (2) hours and all you need is your KU smile and willingness to help.

To volunteer at one of the clinics, simply go to www.studenthealth.ku.edu/volunteer/h1n1, log on using your KU Online ID and password, and enter your availability. The clinic times and locations follow:

Date Time Location
November 610 am – 2 pmMrs. E’s, Lewis Hall
November 1310 am – 2 pmBallroom, KS Union
November 176 pm – 9 pmAnschutz Library
November 2010 am – 2 pmAmbler Student Recreation Fitness Cente
December 410 am – 2 pmBallroom, KS Union

All staff members must have their supervisor's support to volunteer at the clinics. University policy requires this volunteer time to count as time worked. All non-exempt (hourly) employees need to work with their supervisor so that their volunteer clinic time would avoid overtime if possible. Feel free to contact HREO with questions regarding time worked. All volunteers will receive a complimentary t-shirt.

The website will be live through October 25. Volunteer assignments will be sent out the week of October 26. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Kristin Trendel – katrendel@ku.edu, 864-5428.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to volunteer.
