The recent tragedy at Virginia Tech sharpened the university’s focus on the need to develop additional emergency communications systems. Among the tools being implemented is text messaging.

Please take time before the end of May to provide the university with your mobile telephone number and service provider (both the number and provider are required for text messaging) so that you can be contacted in the event of an emergency. You can provide this information by clicking on “Emergency Contact Info” at the secure web site https://sa.ku.edu .
