Promotion and Tenure

Guidelines for the promotion and/or tenure process are found in department and school faculty evaluation plans and the Faculty Senate Rules and Regulations, Article VI.

The open meeting for Promotion and Tenure for all interested faculty will be held on May 7, 2012 in the Big XII room of the Kansas Union at 7p.m. Candidates are encouraged to attend.

Candidate Response Forms to a Negative Recommendation or Marginal/Poor Evaluation Rating

Candidates who receive either a Negative Recommendation or an Evaluation of Marginal/Poor in any area may submit a response for consideration by the review committee at the next level.
