Annual Evaluation
Each faculty member shall be evaluated annually using criteria and methods appropriate to that unit for teaching, scholarship, and service. Specific criteria and procedures are identified in each department's faculty evaluation plan.

Progress Toward Tenure Review
The progress toward tenure review is a formal review conducted approximately midway through the probationary period for tenure-track faculty. The purpose of the review is to give faculty members a meaningful appraisal of their progress to date toward earning tenure, and to orient the tenure-track faculty member to elements of the formal tenure review process.

Promotion and Tenure
Guidelines for the promotion and/or tenure process are found in department and school faculty evaluation plans and the Faculty Senate Rules and Regulations, Article VI.

Multi-Term Lecturer
The Multi-term Lecturer Evaluation forms (Lecturer Report and Unit Review) are used to evaluate lecturers for renewal of their appointment. Although the forms contains headers indicating the placement of content, individuals completing the forms and individuals responsible for the department and/or School/College review process should read carefully the Electronic Submission Instructions to ensure an effective evaluation.
